Had the opportunity to tour the Netherlands with the fourth edition of Het Nationaal Jeugd Jazz Orkest, under the artistic direction of Martin Fondse in 2015 & 2016. Before winning the Zilveren Notenkraker in 2016, the orchestra also released a record entitled “A Rosa” in collaboration with Nationaal Jeugd Orkest and Steffen Schorn: http://jazznu.com/cdrecensies/jong-metropole-dompelt-warm-bad/ Towards the end of the season, the orchestra also collaborated with the Metropole Strings, under the baton of Jules Buckley. Showcased on De Wereld Draait Door. This was the first edition to begin a joint feature with the youth orchestras of Germany and the United Kingdom, premiered at Bimhuis as “Three Nations Under One Groove”.
